Alex, owner of Bow Wow Boutique, has loved animals all her life and had always wanted to work in the industry. After working in various animal related places since 2009, she became interested in the products that are used on our pets.

After doing research of what was available to the public, she found that all the collars, leads and harnesses were rather boring and didn’t cater for the needs of different breed’s or individual personalities.

 

While working at Dog Day Care it became apparent that many of the dogs were wearing average looking, poor quality products. Their I.D tags had writing scratched to the point of not being able to read it and the clips on their leads were hard to open as they had rusted from numerous trips to the beach.

This is where the idea for Bow Wow Boutique NZ began. The goal being to individualize your pets products, not only making them look stunning but also making sure they hold up against wear and weather.
